Khun
Attawut was born in Bangkok and started drawing
when he was a young boy. He won his first prize
during high school, a third place in a contest to
draw cartoon characters in water color from the
movie "Samutsakorn". After graduating
from the Silparkon University (art college),
Attawut worked as a sales man, secretary and now
in the insurance industry. During his spare time
he continues to paint and together with his
family is decorating houses and buildings in
Bangkok. Attawut
paints primarily acrylic on canvas. He likes
contrasting colors and styles, sometimes
aggressive. His themes are taken from the world
around, abstracts, Buddhism and Homoerotic.
Attawuts
exhibition "Emotionally Unframed"
reflects the homoerotic style with contrasting
colors and abstract from in some of his pieces,
giving strong emotions with their colors.
"Emotionally
Unframed" is Attawut's first exhibition at
Dick's Cafe Bangkok.
