| Dick's
Cafe Bangkok is proud to once again be the venue
for a first time exhibition of a very promising
young artist. Khun Sutirat (nicknamed Word), was
born on 31 December 1978. He finished his Mor 3
education at the school for the deaf in Chonburi
(Rungrian Sodsuksah, Chonburi) and furthered his
knowledge at the Bosko School (Rungrian Bosko
Krungthep) in Bangkok. Khun Word's love for painting
started at a very early age and he received a
Commemoration at the Forum of the Decade for the
Disabled in the Asia Pacific Region. His
"Studio" is the beach of Jomtien, where
he paints and sells his art to the passing
tourists. Over time his style has matured and
Khun Word started to gain recognition for his use
of watercolor and gold leaf.
The exhibition
at Dick's Cafe Bangkok features a series of
studies of Buddha images, mostly painted with
watercolor but some as well with coffee.
