| Chaiyo
Patsoda has been drawing Thai traditional figures
and landscapes from a young age. Chaiyo grew up
in a small village bordering the mighty Mekong
River, where many of his ideas and styles come
from. His mother being a teacher, encouraged
Chaiyo to write but he ended up using the paper
and pens given to him to draw. His paintings often
depict Thai traditional images with a dream-like
slant. Colours are soft, but his expression is
realized in strokes, which are pleasant to the
eye.
The beauty with
his Art is that it is still growing and his
imagination portrays youth, and newly developed
styles.
Chaiyo Patsoda
is a member of the Thai Watercolour Society and
currently has surrounded himself with other young
and promising painters who share his workshop.
